In this hands-on position, youll make a meaningful impact each day:

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver personalized, one-on-one support to students with special needs.
• Assist students with daily living activities, including toileting, feeding, hygiene, and mobility.
• Help implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs).
• Reinforce classroom lessons, aiding with academic tasks and assignments.
• Monitor and support positive student behaviors within the classroom and school.
• Ensure a safe, organized, and inclusive environment for all learners.
• Manage transitions and provide supervision during routines, lunchtime, and recess.
• Maintain accurate documentation and communicate student progress with school staff.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must hold valid Pennsylvania clearances: Act 34, Act 151, FBI fingerprinting, Act 168, and Mandated Reporter Training.
• Able to assist with physical and personal care needs.
• Reliable, adaptable, and committed to professionalism.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in varied school settings.

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work as a PCA, paraprofessional, DSP, teachers aide, or BHT.
• Experience supporting children with autism, developmental disabilities, or special educational needs.
• Familiarity with ABA, behavior management, or classroom support strategies.
• CPR/First Aid certification a plus.
