Per Diem Teacher's Aide - Allentown, Pennsylvania

Instructional Aide subs are needed for immediate per diem opportunities supporting students across schools near Allentown, PA. As an Instructional Aide, your role will include:

• Supporting students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Providing one-on-one or small-group assistance, following teacher and staff directions

• Implementing behavior support strategies and adhering to IEPs as needed
• Supporting students' mobility, supervision, and personal care needs

To be eligible, youll need:

• A high school diploma or GED
• To be at least 18 years old
• To complete a TB test (per district requirements)
• The ability to stand, move frequently, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Up-to-date clearances, or be willing to obtain them before your start date

Preferred background and qualities:

• Experience in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care environments
• Familiarity supporting students with special needs, behavioral challenges, or autism
• CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials a plus (but not required)
• A reliable, patient, and collaborative attitude
