Key Responsibilities:

• Offer academic, social, and behavioral support within the classroom setting
• Provide one-on-one or small group assistance, following the direction of teachers and school staff
• Help students with daily routines, classroom transitions, and participation
• Implement behavioral support strategies and follow IEPs when applicable
• Assist with supervision, mobility, and personal care as needed
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to complete a TB test (as required by the district)
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifts as needed
• Current background clearances, or willingness to obtain before starting

Preferred Skills:

• Experience working in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPI, PMT, or RBT experience (not required)
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative approach
