In this position, youll:

• Assist students on a 1:1 or small group basis as directed by teachers and classroom staff
• Support academic, behavioral, and social development throughout the school day
• Help students navigate daily routines, transitions, class activities, and participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed
• Provide supervision, mobility support, and personal care as appropriate
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all learners

To be considered, youll need:

• A high school diploma or GED and be at least 18 years old
• Ability to meet school compliance, including a current TB test and state-mandated clearances
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when required
• A willingness to obtain clearances before starting

Preferred experience includes working in school, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settingsand supporting students with autism or behavioral challenges. Having CPI, PMT, or RBT credentials is a plus, but not required. Reliability, patience, and a collaborative approach are essential.
