School Paraprofessional Substitute Opportunities Per Diem

As an instructional aide, you will:

• Offer academic, behavioral, and social support in classroom settings
• Work 1:1 or with small groups, following direction from teachers and staff
• Assist students with daily routines, transitions, and classroom participation
• Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as needed
• Help with supervision, mobility, and personal care
• Contribute to a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning atmosphere

School Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• TB test (compliant with local district standards)
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting when necessary
• Current background clearances, or willingness to obtain them prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT tools (not required, but advantageous)
• Reliable, patient, and eager to collaborate with diverse teams
