Key Responsibilities:

• Support students academically, behaviorally, and socially within classroom settings
• Provide individualized or small-group assistance under the guidance of teachers and staff
• Assist with daily routines, classroom participation, and smooth student transitions
• Implement behavior plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) as required
• Help with student mobility, supervision, and personal care tasks
• Foster a safe, respectful, and inclusive learning environment

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED
• 18 years of age or older
• TB test clearance as required by the district
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current (or willingness to obtain) necessary school clearances

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT techniques is a plus
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative attitude
