Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program
- Current Illinois Occupational Therapist license

- Proficient in conducting assessments, designing intervention plans, and utilizing evidence-based techniques
- Able to communicate clearly with students, educators, and parents, fostering positive relationships
- Comfortable working independently and collaboratively as needs arise
- Strong organizational abilities and keen attention to detail
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct evaluations to identify students needs and areas for intervention
- Develop and implement individualized occupational therapy plans in accordance with IEP goals
- Deliver hands-on therapy, track student progress, and adjust interventions as necessary
- Maintain thorough, compliant documentation of services and outcomes
- Provide consultative support and training to teachers and staff
- Engage in IEP meetings, collaborating on educational strategies and accommodations
- Promote student independence, participation, and positive outcomes within the educational setting
