Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 or small group assistance focused on academic, behavioral, and social development under the guidance of teaching staff.
• Help students navigate daily routines, transitions, and active participation in classroom settings.
• Follow established behavior support plans and implement IEPs to ensure each students specific needs are met.
• Assist with student mobility, supervision needs, and personal care requirements as appropriate.

Qualifications:

• Valid Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in Alabama.
• At least 18 years of age.
• Clear and current TB test in accordance with district standards.
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting as needed.
• Willingness to obtain required clearances prior to starting.

Preferred Experience:

• Previous roles in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care environments.
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges.
• Training in CPI, PMT, or RBT is a plus.
