Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct clinical care and first aid for students and staff during the school day.
• Develop and implement Individualized Healthcare Plans (IHPs) and Emergency Care Plans (ECPs).
• Administer prescription and over-the-counter medications according to best practices.
• Conduct routine health screenings for vision, hearing, and growth.
• Maintain accurate and confidential student health records, including vaccination and compliance tracking.
• Educate students and staff about nutrition, hygiene, disease prevention, and overall wellness.
• Monitor for communicable diseases, support campus safety, and adhere to health regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Active LPN/LVN or RN license in Pennsylvania.
• Current BLS/CPR/AED certification (school nurse certification may be required).
• Experience in pediatrics, emergency, or community health is preferred.
• Strong assessment, communication, and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with or readiness to learn electronic health records.
• Ability to complete TB testing and obtain all required clearances before starting.
