Key Qualifications:

• Active LPN/LVN or Registered Nurse (RN) license
• BLS/CPR/AED certification (school nurse certification a plus)
• TB test (as required by district)
• Current clearances or willingness to obtain prior to start
• Preferred background in pediatrics, emergency care, or community health
• Strong clinical assessment and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and learn electronic health records

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct clinical care for illnesses, injuries, and emergencies within the school
• Develop and implement Individualized Healthcare and Emergency Care Plans for students with chronic health needs
• Administer medications, conduct routine health screenings, and maintain confidential health records
• Educate students and staff about preventative health, nutrition, and hygiene
• Monitor and support compliance with health regulations, communicable disease protocols, and safety guidelines
