Per Diem School Nurse (LPN) - Wallingford, CT

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide hands-on medical and behavioral support to students, including personal care as needed
• Work in partnership with teachers and school staff to ensure smooth classroom participation and transitions for assigned students
• Support daily routines, mobility, and supervision to foster a safe and inclusive learning environment
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with school safety and health policies

To Qualify, Youll Need:

• An active LPN license and at least a high school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18; ability to pass TB testing and required background clearances before starting
• Physical ability to assist with lifting, mobility, and active student support
• School, special education, behavioral health, or child care experience is preferred
• Confidence supporting students with special needs or behavioral challenges is a plus
• CPR, G-Tube, or Trach credentials are welcome but not mandatory
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, patient mindset

Compensation for this position ranges from $17.38 to $35.38. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
