Per Diem School Nurse (Licensed Practical Nurse) - Simi Valley, CA

Licensed Professional Nurse opportunities are available for caring individuals interested in providing 1:1 support to students in a rewarding school-based environment near Simi Valley, California. Position Responsibilities:

• Offer daily 1:1 medical, behavioral, and social support to students in classroom settings
• Collaborate directly with teachers and staff to meet individual student needs
• Assist with medical routines, personal care, and classroom transitions
• Support student mobility, supervision, and overall participation in school activities
• Promote and maintain a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all students

Requirements (School Compliance):

• Active RN license
• High school diploma or GED and at least 18 years of age
• Current TB test (in line with district requirements)
• Physical ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting when necessary
• All required clearances must be valid prior to start (or willingness to obtain them)

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Familiarity with supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Experience with CPR, G-Tube, or Trach care is beneficial but not mandatory
• Reliability, patience, and a collaborative, team-spirited approach
