Per Diem School Nurse (LPN) - Reading, Pennsylvania

What Youll Do:

• Deliver 1:1 medical and behavioral support to students throughout the school day
• Collaborate with teachers and school staff to ensure student well-being
• Assist with daily routines, personal care, mobility, and supervision
• Help create a respectful and welcoming learning environment

Requirements for School-Based Nursing:

• Active RN license
• High school diploma or GED (minimum)
• At least 18 years old
• Up-to-date TB test (per district guidelines)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current or obtainable clearances for school employment

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or child care
• Experience supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPR, G-Tube, or trach experience is valued but not required
• Dependable, patient, and team-oriented approach
