In this position, you will:

• Offer 1:1 or small group academic, behavioral, and social assistance under the guidance of classroom teachers
• Support students daily routines, including transitions and active participation within the classroom
• Follow and help implement behavior support plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Assist with mobility, supervision, and, as needed, personal care for students
• Always uphold a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all learners

A successful candidate will have:

• An active Alabama LPN license
• Minimum age of 18
• Compliance with TB testing per district guidelines
• The ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting as necessary
• Required clearances (or willingness to obtain them prior to starting)

Preferred experience includes a background in school nursing, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings, along with prior work supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges. Certification or familiarity with CPI, PMT, or RBT is considered a bonus. Reliability, patience, and a collaborative mindset are key.
