What Youll Bring:

• An active Pennsylvania LPN, LVN, or RN license
• BLS/CPR/AED certification (school nurse certification may be required per state guidelines)
• Recent TB test and up-to-date clearances (or willingness to obtain prior to starting)
• Previous experience in pediatrics, emergency care, or community health is highly valued
• Strong clinical assessment and documentation skills
• Excellent independent judgment and communication ability
• Comfort with, or willingness to learn, electronic health record systems

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver immediate first aid and emergency care to students and staff
• Manage acute illnesses and chronic medical conditions (develop and implement IHPs/ECPs)
• Administer medications according to physician and school policies
• Conduct health screenings (vision, hearing, growth) and track vaccination compliance
• Maintain strict medical documentation and ensure confidentiality
• Provide health education and wellness guidance to the school community
• Monitor for communicable diseases and help enforce safety protocols
