In this role, your main focus will be providing essential 1:1 assistance to students, ensuring their health, safety, and engagement throughout the school day. Youll collaborate with teachers and school personnel while supporting students medical, behavioral, and social needs in classrooms and other school settings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Offer direct, individualized medical and behavioral support for students as directed by school staff
• Assist with daily routines, classroom participation, and personal care tasks
• Help students with mobility, transitions, and supervision throughout the day
• Maintain a welcoming and inclusive learning environment
• Uphold safety and confidentiality standards at all times

Minimum Requirements:

• Current, active RN license
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• TB test as required by the school district
• Capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting
• Up-to-date clearances or willingness to obtain them before starting

Preferred Experience:

• Prior work in schools, childcare, behavioral health, or special education settings
• Experience with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Additional certifications like CPR, G-Tube, or Trach care are advantageous but not required
• Dependable, patient, and team-oriented attitude
