Per Diem School Nurse (LPN) - New Haven, Connecticut

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 medical, behavioral, and personal care support to students within the classroom
• Assist with daily routines, medical needs, transitions, and classroom participation
• Support mobility, supervision, and personal care where required
• Maintain a safe, respectful, and inclusive environment for all students
• Collaborate effectively with teachers and school staff to follow individualized care plans

Required Qualifications:

• Active LPN or LVN license
• High school diploma or GED
• At least 18 years of age
• Current TB test (per district requirements)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Willingness to obtain or provide current background clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Background in a school, behavioral health, special education, or child care setting
• Experience assisting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPR certification and exposure to G-Tube or Trach care a plus
• Reliable, patient, and collaborative mindset

Compensation for this position ranges from $17.38 to $35.38. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
