Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) in Naperville, IL

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide individualized medical, behavioral, and social support to students during classroom activities
• Assist with daily routines, medical care, mobility, classroom participation, and personal needs
• Respond to school staff and teachers direction for student care
• Help maintain an inclusive, secure, and respectful atmosphere for all learners
• Participate in transitions and actively supervise students to promote engagement and safety

Required Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• High school diploma or GED
• Minimum age of 18
• Current TB test (or willingness to obtain as required)
• Ability to stand, walk, and assist with lifting
• Current clearances, or willingness to obtain all necessary clearances before starting

Preferred Experience & Skills:

• Background in school, special education, behavioral health, or child care environments
• Experience working with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• CPR, G-Tube, or Trach experience is a plus
• Demonstrates patience, reliability, and a collaborative team approach
