Per Diem School Nurse (LPN) - La Fayette, Georgia

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver 1:1 or small group assistance to students, supporting academic, behavioral, and social goals under the guidance of classroom teachers
• Facilitate daily routines, assist with transitions, and encourage active participation in class activities
• Implement behavior support strategies and adhere to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Provide mobility and supervision support, as well as personal care when needed
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and safe learning environment at all times

Qualifications:

• Active AL LPN License required
• Minimum age of 18
• Compliance with TB testing as mandated by district policy
• Physical capability to stand, walk, and lift as duties may require
• Up-to-date clearances or readiness to obtain them prior to start date

Preferred Experience and Attributes:

• Prior experience in educational, special education, behavioral health, or childcare settings
• Comfort supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Training/certifications in CPI, PMT, or as an RBT are advantageous
• Reliability, patience, and a strong commitment to teamwork
