Job Description
Make a daily impact supporting students academic, behavioral, and social growth in a school environment with this per diem Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) opportunity near Deatsville, AL. In this role, you will:
- Deliver one-on-one or small group student support for academics, behavior, and social skills, guided by teachers
- Assist with student routines, transitions, and participation in classroom activities
- Implement behavior support plans and follow Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide supervision, mobility assistance, and personal care as needed
- Help maintain a safe, respectful, and welcoming classroom community
Ideal qualifications include:

Active Alabama LPN license

At least 18 years old

Compliance with district-required TB testing

Physically able to stand, walk, and help with student lifting if needed

Current clearances or ability to obtain them before starting
Preferred backgrounds: -
Experience in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare

Familiarity working with students who have special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges

Certification or experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT
