Responsibilities:

• Deliver individualized support, working 1:1 or with small groups of students under the guidance of educators
• Promote positive student participation by assisting with routines, transitions, and classroom activities
• Help implement behavior support plans and follow IEPs to address unique student needs
• Provide mobility, supervision, and personal care assistance as needed
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and respectful learning environment for all students

Qualifications:

• Active Alabama LPN license
• Minimum age of 18
• Up-to-date TB test in accordance with district requirements
• Physically capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting
• Ability to secure required clearances prior to starting

Preferred Experience:

• Previous work in schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare
• Background supporting students with special needs, autism spectrum disorders, or behavioral challenges
• Certification or experience with CPI, PMT, or RBT is highly valued
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and collaborative attitude
