Per Diem School-Based Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) | Chicago, Illinois

This highly flexible, as-needed opportunity allows you to take shifts based on school coverage needs and work 1:1 with students who depend on your care and expertise.

Key Qualifications and Requirements:

• Active RN license required
• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED
• Must be at least 18 years old
• Able to provide or obtain a current TB test as required by local regulations
• Physically capable of standing, walking, and assisting with lifting as necessary
• Willingness to complete or maintain all required clearances prior to starting Preferred but not required:
• Experience within schools, special education, behavioral health, or childcare environments
• Background in supporting students with special needs, autism, or behavioral challenges
• Additional skills such as CPR certification, or familiarity with G-Tube or Trach care
• Demonstrated reliability, patience, and strong teamwork skills

Core Responsibilities:

• Deliver compassionate, individualized support to students in classroom settings
• Collaborate with teachers and staff to provide 1:1 care and implement educational or behavior support plans
• Assist students with medical needs, personal care, transitions, and classroom activities
