Job Description
A Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) opportunity is available for a contract assignment providing Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy services for students with autism. This role involves delivering individualized support to 6-10 K-12 children requiring ABA intervention in a school setting located near the Ozark National Forest region in Northern Arkansas.
Key responsibilities include:
- Implementing ABA therapy programs tailored to the needs of students with autism
- Collaborating with other professionals to ensure consistent support throughout the educational day
- Monitoring progress and adjusting treatment plans as appropriate
- Maintaining accurate documentation related to therapy sessions and student outcomes
- Supporting students aged kindergarten through 12th grade across approximately 10 hours per week based on caseload needs
Desired qualifications:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) credential required
- Experience working with school-aged children with autism in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of ABA principles and effective therapy techniques
- Ability to work independently within a rural school community
- Flexibility to adapt therapy approaches according to student progress
