Job Type: On-Call, Flexible Hours
Salary: 25-28$ per hour 

We are currently seeking an On-Call Paraeducator/Paraprofessional to join our team in the Laguna Hills area. This position offers the flexibility to work on a day-to-day basis, providing assistance in classroom settings and supporting students with special needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation and implementation.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, especially those with special needs, in academic and non-academic activities.
• Support students in following behavioral and academic goals.
• Monitor and manage student behavior in accordance with the teacher’s instructions and school policies.
• Provide assistance during instructional activities, including reinforcing lesson plans and supporting students' learning.
• Assist with lifting and toileting 

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate's degree or higher preferred).
• Experience working with children, preferably in an educational or childcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude when working with students with diverse needs.
• Ability to maintain student confidentiality and adhere to school policies.
