Position Overview:

As an On-Call School RN, you’ll be available to fill in for school health staff as needed—ensuring that students receive safe, high-quality care while maintaining a healthy school environment. You may work at one or multiple school sites depending on the district's needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Administer medications and treatments according to student care plans

• Respond to medical emergencies and provide appropriate care

• Assess students with acute illness or injury

• Monitor and manage chronic health conditions (e.g. asthma, diabetes, seizures)

• Maintain accurate and confidential health documentation

• Collaborate with school staff, parents, and healthcare providers

• Support compliance with state and district health policies

Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of [Insert State]

• Current CPR/BLS Certification (required)

• School nursing or pediatric experience preferred
