Position: On-Call Paraeducator/Paraprofessional
Location: Sumner, Washington
Job Type: On-Call, Flexible Hours
Pay: Hourly rate set based off school setting experience

Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation and implementation.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, especially those with special needs, in academic and non-academic activities.
• Support students in following behavioral and academic goals.
• Monitor and manage student behavior in accordance with the teacher’s instructions and school policies.
• Provide assistance during instructional activities, including reinforcing lesson plans and supporting students' learning.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate's degree or higher preferred).
• Experience working with children, preferably in an educational or childcare setting.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Patience, flexibility, and a positive attitude when working with students with diverse needs.
• Ability to maintain student confidentiality and adhere to school policies.

• ASAP start
• School setting experience preferred
• ASD population experience
