Job Posting: On-Call Paraeducator/Paraprofessional – Soliant (Laguna Hills Area)
Position: On-Call Paraeducator/Paraprofessional
Location: Oxon Hill, Maryland area
Job Type: On-Call, Flexible Hours
Salary: 25-28$ per hour
Responsibilities:
- Assist classroom teachers with lesson preparation and implementation.
- Provide one-on-one or small group support to students, especially those with special needs, in academic and non-academic activities.
- Support students in following behavioral and academic goals.
- Monitor and manage student behavior in accordance with the teacher’s instructions and school policies.
- Provide assistance during instructional activities, including reinforcing lesson plans and supporting students' learning.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required (Associate's degree or higher preferred).
- Experience working with children, preferably in an educational or childcare setting.
- Ability to maintain student confidentiality and adhere to school policies.
